Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements, which create a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system.
The class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body in an aerobic like atmosphere.
Zumba integrates some of the basic principles of aerobics, interval, and resistance training, which maximizes the caloric output, cardiovascular benefits, and total body toning. The class targets gluteals, legs, arms, core, abdominals and the heart. You can burn between 300 to 700 calories per class.

| You don't have to be a dancer or be good at dancing to take Zumba. Zumba creates a party-like environment that provides a non-intimidating opportunity for non-dancers, new exercisers, those who hesitate to participate in group classes, and even for those that are long time dancers or exercisers.
The change of pace makes exercise healthy, fun, and a big party. All students feel comfortable knowing that they can just go with the flow and enjoy the party. |
